In the July 2017, Gallery Oldham hosted out 150th anniversary exhibition which was opened by the Mayor of Oldham and ran for almost two months.

The exhibition was built around a slide show of members’ images shown on a TV screen and 20 posters at A1 size, tracing the history of photography, the Oldham Photographic Society and its Victorian members.

The links below show small versions of the poster exhibition, put together from the book “A Victorian Society” which follows the history of the society from its beginnings in 1867 right up to the present.

Click on each image to see a board with text big enough to actually read and press F11 on keyboard to show full screen.
