OPS Members win gold medals at the Austrian Super Circuit 2004

The Austrian Super Circuit is the biggest of the FIAP supported international photographic competitions.

This year, there was a record entry of 72,000 photographs (prints and slides) from amateur and professional photographers around the world.Oldham PS members Mike Lawrence and Chris Widdall both won gold medals and attended the Gala evening and presentation ceremony in Linz on 2nd November 2004.

Another North-West amateur photographer, Marco Pozzi from Southport PS, was awarded the Grand Prix as the most successful photographer overall in the competition.

Mike received a VOAV Gold Medal for his composite photograph “Nightmare”.

Chris was awarded an ASC Gold Medal in the Digital section for “Before the Mast” and another ASC Gold in the Open Colour Section for “Across the Atrium”.
