It’s not very often we have a marriage to report in Oldham Photographic Society. So, it is with great pleasure that we announce the marriage on Friday 5th August, of OPS member and top landscape photographer, Matt Aspden, to Lisa Collins. Matt attended St Herbert’s RC Primary School in Chadderton and ended up being a teacher there. St Herbert’s is where he also met fellow teacher Lisa…and yesterday they were married at St Herbert’s RC Church, just 200 yards from the school, by their boss, Father McKie.
The service was attended by over 100 guests, including many of their pupils and the school choir sang in the balcony during the service.
Christine (OPS Joint Programme Secretary) and Mike (OPS Acting President) were the photographers on the day and joined the newly weds as guests for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Congratulations Matt and Lisa from everyone at Oldham PS.
