In Salford Quays did OPS
A stately photo shoot decree
Where clouds brought forth the drizzle way
Through lenses spotted, damp and grey
Across the longest day
Yes folks, our trip to Salford Quays was… a bit wet.
In fact, very wet. Wet in that dull, uninteresting northern drizzle way. No books will ever be written where the weather is like that.
Why bother with a book entitled “50 shades of grey” when you can have thousands of shades of grey in a Salford sky.
So we took a few pics, huddled away from the drizzle, went for a coffee in Cafe Rouge where the waiter didn’t have many people to serve but still got it wrong.
Then we all went home.
