Below are the top scoring images from the Quarterly Competition, July 2020, judged by Keith Barber. Keith has a very easy to listen to, positive style and gave lots of high marks. Only the 19s and 20s are included here, from what was a very high standard of internal competition.
The Annual Competitions are the culmination of a year’s work by the members and are held in five separate categories – in each category there is a trophy for the best Projected Digital Image (PDI) and the best print.
We had a bumper entry for last night’s quarterly competition and for the first time for a while the entry had to be culled to show only the first three of each entrant’s images. Our judge was Wendy Stowell who was very kind in her appraisal…it was lovely to see pictures from new members this…
We had a new judge, Will Stead, for our third quarterly images. Will gave a very confident and positive appraisal of each image and below are the images that he chose as the best.
During the year we set several challenges to our members and once a year we round them all up into a competition. This year our judge was Rebecca Entwistle from Prestwich, who chose the following images for her best of the night.
