It’s that time of year again and the Christmas Market in Manchester is in full swing. The atmosphere is something to experience, and although maybe not as good as previous years, it is still certainly both a challenge and a joy to photograph.
It is somewhat spread out more across the city this year, but we still saw plenty on our walkabout. From the predictable sausage and beer stalls to the art and craft stalls, there was always something to catch the eye and point a camera at.
I think everyone in the group went home with images that were both pleasing and different. The night was a memorable one and posed an interesting challenge for the group, as some including myself, were like fish out of water. I am sure next year’s will be an even greater success and I for one cannot wait…
