Hi everyone.
Last night whilst we were enjoying members’ photos taken with flash, John(W) and Brian (D) did the honourable thing and attended the meeting at North Cheshire PS in Poynton to support our entry in their invitation interclub knockout competition.
The judge was Mike McNamee from Birkenhead. John has reported back that Mike did an excellent job and was very observant, being especially critical of any noticeable technical faults or processing deficiencies.
The competition had 29 clubs entered, from Lancashire and Cheshire, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Staffordshire. Five peices of work had to be entered from five separate photographers.
In the first round we lost “Rosetta”, by Ken Nolan.
In round two we lost Matt’s “Tandle Woods in Fog”.
My “Between Rain Bamburgh” ….and Brian’s “Great Tit” lasted to round three.
and in round four we lost Mike’s “Josh”

Joint Second: Wigan 10 and Leek
4th: Oldham PS
Joint 5th: Wilmslow Guild PS and Stockport PS
7th : Hoylake PS
Joint 8th: South Liverpool PS, Sheffield PS, SLIC and Keswick.
12th Southport PS
