Thursday 21st March 2019 was our turn to host the Adrian Deaville Memorial Competition. This is held annually and is hosted in turn by ourselves, Oldham Camera Club and Rochdale and District Camera Club. Each club submits 10 prints and 10 PDIs. In recent years we have struggled to have enough prints submitted from which to choose our OPS entry, but this year our members really came up trumps, giving Mike and Chris a lovely set of images for our selection process. Regrettably, we were not able to use images from everyone.
We were joined by Barry and Joyce Deaville and, as always, Barry provided 2 bottles of whisky, one for the individual winner of each section. Our judge for the evening was Erica Oram, from Sheffield, who gave a thorough and constructive appraisal of the work and marked each out of 20.
