PAGB Club Print Challenge 2026

This national competition was held at Harper Adams University, Newport, Shropshire, on 24 October 2026. Forty-four clubs took part, making it a wonderful opportunity to see some of the very best prints being produced by UK club photographers. Each Federation may enter up to three clubs, while the previous year’s finalists and Plate winners (the runners-up competition) automatically qualify.

Six of our members attended, and we achieved a highly creditable equal sixth place, alongside Rolls Royce Photographic Society. If the competition itself was nerve-racking, the drive home through Storm Boelo was even worse, but we all managed to get home safely!

To prepare for next year’s competition, we now need to focus on strengthening our monochrome section, increasing our fine art content, and achieving the highest possible print standards. Let’s work toward these goals together. Members seeking support to create national-standard exhibition images should join the Salons and Exhibitions Special Interest Group.

Meanwhile, the 29 bank images that were not selected for this year’s final will form the foundation of next year’s image bank and we’ll add more images to that over the next year.

Here is the set of prints we used in the final. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who contributed to this excellent result.
