This is a shot I got the other day at Uppermill (Yorkshire Day). I have cropped in very tight for this image. He is one of the Civil War re-enactment group.
Any thoughts anyone?

I like your image and as is would look good projected with the black background ( the smoke on the left disturbs me a bit was it added) but for a print I prefer my version with maybe a grey window mount
The smoke is genuine. The only thing I have done (apart from crop) is a little dodging and burning.

As you can see Ken has cropped even tighter, and strenghthened the lighting. Basically pushed the enhancements a little further. I’m not sure if the colour changes are deliberate or a result of a change in the colour profile. I do think the warmth helps on the face.
