What a pity the summer school is over – during the past month I have learned so much – remembering it is another matter – Firstly thanks to Chris and Mike for the shows a lot of preparation and hard work provided us us all with four very entertaining and worthy tutorials (I missed the Pictures to exi as its not yet available on the Mac platform) Our dynamic duo have asked for feed back so here is my two pence worth
Obviously you (Chris & Mike) are not going to cover everything every one wanted to see and learn but you chose a very good blend and depth IMO and I have been happy with each module and find it a little difficult to suggest on improvements but here goes – It would be nice to have had some short handouts on the techniques -I managed to write some notes but in doing so and being a man (men can only do one thing at a time) I missed some little snippets while I was writing and a hand out would be useful to practice with – I am not sure how many “schools” run through the year but assume the next one will be a step up and a hand out of the basics would be handy for any new members to pick up on and allow the next sessions to be advanced upon without having to revert back for newcomers – alternatively program it in the calender once a month/quarter – I hope this posting will serve to prompt other “pupils” to respond no doubt I will have some more to add when I have slept on it – thanks again for the time and effort it was certainly not wasted for me
