A ‘new year’ starts for OPS after next week’s AGM and, like everyone, the programme secs. have to work within budgets. Expenses (fuel etc.) for visiting lecturers and judges are due to rise significantly but we don’t want to compromise the quality of our programme. To this end we’ve tried to bring in some meetings that involve more member participation and, as a bonus, taking more photos!! These ‘extras’ will be Project Nights and an ‘Aftermath’ (we’ve already had 2, which have been very successful) plus a number of ‘Challenges’ in which members will be ‘challenged’ to create images for a specific purpose or ‘in the style of…’ etc.
There will be ample warning given for each so you’ll have plenty of time to think about them and, hopefully, make the pictures for us all to enjoy.
