On Saturday 9th July 2022, the L&CPU held their awards presentation day at Leigh Spinners Mill, along with the opening of the Print Exhibition for 2022. The exhibition is well worth a visit and the café is not to be missed (neither is the Green Lane Chippy, just a couple of hundred yards away!). Oldham PS had four recipients of the CPAGB accreditation (Karen Shivas, Pat Noon, Andrea Wilson and Brianna Gilligan). Brianna was able to collect her award in person. She is the youngest ever recipient of the award and also won the Young Photographer of the Year Cup, presented by L&CPU President, James Hardy. Bri’s CPAGB set can be viewed at this link.
Christine and Eddie both received a number of awards for individual pieces of work, plus main section awards, detailed below.
