Some Oldham PS members entered the L&CPU Individuals Competition, which was judged earlier this month. This is entered through the club and the highest marked work is considered for the Exhibition, the travelling L&CPU folios or to represent the L&CPU in the National (Inter-federation) competitions. Work which goes to the PAGB will also be in the folio the following year. The full scores have been sent out to the entrants already and the full reports are available at this link. For those whose work was not chosen this time, don’t be too disappointed, there is always next year, so well done everyone who entered. We had a wonderful set of prints.
Photographer of the Year Section
In the Photographer of the Year section of the competition, Christine Widdall was placed 6th overall, Eddie Leach, 8th and Sandra Walker was 20th. The places are calculated by adding together the scores of all the section for each individual – i.e. over 24 works per entrant.
