Sandy Cleland has been a member of the Edinburgh Photographic Society for over 40 years and has held the position of President and International Exhibition Secretary, He has been an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society since 1980 and a Fellow since 1986, both awards with nature slides. He is also at present Deputy Chair of the Distinctions Advisory Board and a member of the Fellowship Review Board. Natural history has been and still is his main interest but he also enjoys all types of Photography, especially monochrome and subjects such as people in their own environment with more creative aspects of image making. In 2005 Sandy was awarded the RPS Fenton Medal for services to photography.

Neil Scott has been taking and processing photographs since he was 8 years of age (1946!!!). His father and uncle taught him the rudiments of picture taking, and developing and printing in a cupboard under the stairs. He joined the Edinburgh Society in 2006 and went Digital the same year. He got his LRPS in 2006 and ARPS in 2007 and FRPS 2012 at his first attempt. His main photographic interests are in still life, people, and more recently the surreal, being a fan of Man Ray.

Richard Bingham has been a keen photographer over the last 50 years starting with a Box Brownie at the age of 7. He enjoys working in both monochrome and colour. He is an active member of the Edinburgh society and is currently the secretary. Richard has also been a member of the Midlothian Camera Club between 1994-2005 also chairman from 1998-2000. His favourite subjects are landscapes and people he also has an interest in alternative processes as salt prints. cyanotypes,etc. He holds the ARPS.

Peter Paterson has been a keen photographer for over 40 years starting with monochrome which he processed in the darkroom. During this time he has gained the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society and gained EFIAP award, also MPAGB. His main interests are landscape, still life and abstract, both in colour and monochrome. He has exhibited his photographs Nationally and Internationally in various photo salons around the world.
