Congratulations to Oldham PS members for our success in the GB Cup, run by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. We have improved on last year’s result by coming 2nd in the Open Section and 5th in nature. The Judges were: Neil Smith DPAGB AFIAP APAGB HonSPF, Rod Wheelans MPAGB FIPF HonPAGB and David Smith LRPS CPAGB
The winning Club in the Open Category was: Nottingham and Notts Photographic Society. The winning Club in the Nature Category was: North Norfolk Photographic Society.
Individual awards included two for Oldham members:
“Plant and Take Off” by Eddie Leach DPAGB, Silver medal (Neil Smith Judge’s Choice) (15 marks)
“Nicholas Hough Hurdles” by Brianna Gilligan DPAGB, Highly Commended (14 marks)
