Quite a number of members don’t have PtoE, or other software, for putting together an AV sequence and might not want to invest until they’ve seen it ‘in action’ with their own pictures. To try and give everyone a ‘taster’, we’ve programmed a ‘High Days & Holidays – Work & Play’ meeting, in spring or early summer next year. At this meeting we’ll show AVs on which members will have collaborated in their making. Any interested member will have collected together, edited and organised 40 images, together with an appropriate piece of music. These will then be passed to me for putting into an AV sequence. The sequence will be converted to .exe files which can then be shown at club and, if wished, copied by the author for sharing with the family or friends. Details will be given later in the autumn but, in the meantime, if you’re interested in having a go, and have the opportunity to photograph something of interest or importance to you, then start collecting!
