After some years of not holding print competitions, our recent event featured 25 superb prints. Although not a huge number, the quality was exceptional, with several images earning top marks of 19 and 20. Battle against the Isle of Man PS
Oldham PS triumphed in a virtual two-club photography competition, which usually includes Rochdale & District Camera Club, using Zoom. Although Rochdale couldn’t participate, high-quality images abounded, with Oldham entering 25 works. A standout image, Brianna’s “Nicholas Hough Hurdles,” received top marks among several high scorers.

The OCC Invitation Club Monochrome Print Competition
Oldham CC revived their Monochrome Print Competition, drawing 98 images from 14 clubs. Judge Gordon Jenkins scored each out of 20, with Oldham Photographic Society earning the winning score of 132 out of 140 from seven entries. The “Best Print Overall” was awarded to “Brianna” by Christine Widdall.

L&CPU Annual Club Knockout
Oldham PS participated in the L&CPU Annual Club Knockout Competition featuring eight images from six members. Due to numerous participants, only the first four images were considered.
